Fallbrook Neighborhood in Edmond Offers Convenient Location, Strong Community, Beautiful Area
Edmond has a wide selection of beautiful neighborhoods, which allows home buyers to not only select their dream home but their ideal location. While we are always looking to expand into new communities, we are picky about the quality of the area. We want our homes to offer you the very best, from the customizations, to the lot you build on, to the location.
Fallbrook is a beautiful gated subdivision, and perfect for retired professionals and growing families alike. We currently have four homes for sale in Fallbrook and with only six lots remaining, now is the time to act! Home prices range from $400,000 to $600,000+.
The clubhouse is an ideal area to host a small or large gathering, or simply hang out with family and friends. Residents can reserve the space for a private party. It is equipped with a full kitchen to help host parties, and an indoor fitness center.
Who doesn’t appreciate a quick dip in the pool? Fallbrook’s pool is gated for safety and is not overly crowded. Homeowners will enjoy the pool whether they like to sunbathe and relax, or swim laps and get in a good workout.
Sports Court and Beach-Style Volleyball Court
A community sports court is a convenient way for residents to shoot some hoops, without needing to add a hoop in their driveway. Fallbrook also has an inviting beach-style volleyball court that will immediately make you want to take your shoes off and imagine you’re playing on a sunny beach.
With 2 miles of walking trails, this neighborhood is great for those looking to take nice strolls after a family dinner or go on a quick run.
Greenbelt and Ponds
This neighborhood is a beautiful place to get away from it all and enjoy nature. Fallbrook has two ponds and a large 17-acre greenbelt.
Nearby Convenient Locations
This quaint treed subdivision will only continue to get more beautiful as the trees grow. The trees offer privacy, while also adding to the beauty of the area.
Many homeowners appreciate the proximity to different locations.
“It’s very peaceful and I love the location,” says Linda Negley, French Construction homeowner, and Fallbrook resident. “I originally wanted to live in east Edmond but now that we are here, it’s so convenient to shopping, restaurants, and so much has been built in the area. There is also less traffic.”
“I like the fact that it’s not too far out but doesn’t feel like you’re in a crowded neighborhood,” says Paige Bledsoe, French Construction homeowner and Fallbrook resident. “Uptown Grocery and Pampered Pets are right down the street.”
The Shacklefords, French Construction homeowners and Fallbrook residents, are avid swimmers and cyclists so being near Mitch Park and the YMCA was a big draw. They also enjoy the proximity of Uptown Grocery, the post office, and Lowe’s.
If you are looking for a community feel, Fallbrook will not disappoint. With an official welcoming committee, involved HOA, and sociable people, it would be impossible to feel unwelcome in this neighborhood.
“Fallbrook is a friendly, growing community,” says Jim McCauley, president of the Fallbrook HOA. “We have a very active volunteer network, used for recreation, clean-up projects, parties, and more. We currently have about 100 homes, and will eventually go to 145.”
Scott Shackleford shares how quickly hospitality was shown once he and his wife moved in. Someone from the welcoming committee was at their front porch almost immediately after the moving van left, providing warm delicious brownies, and heaps of important information about the community, like accessing the available amenities.
There are many planned events hosted by the HOA, like the annual ice cream social. Other events occur annually like the Easter egg hunt, summer cookout, turkey trot, Christmas party, and more.
“Everybody is friendly and a lot of people are new so it’s a shared experience, being new,” says Gilbert Thompson, French Construction homeowner and Fallbrook resident. “Fallbrook has a private Facebook page and everybody communicates on that. The HOA is also active so it’s nice.”
Paige Bledsoe says she loves the area. “The backyard doesn’t face another homeowner, there is a beautiful pond and greenbelt behind our house,” says Bledsoe. “Not facing another backyard was important to us and we enjoy the beauty of the greenbelt and pond.”
Bledsoe also enjoys the walking trails that go around the neighborhood and down by the creek. She often walks on them with her dogs.
The Thompsons enjoy the pool and walking trail. “Our grandson comes out and likes to play in the greenbelt,” says Thompson. “He’s five, so it’s all a big adventure to him.”
Why They Chose Fallbrook
Gilbert Thompson, French Construction Homeowner and Fallbrook Resident
The Thompsons were very tactical when it came to choosing the neighborhood they wanted to reside in. They considered commute to downtown and which way the sun would face, where more earthquakes were occurring, being on the west side of the city, accessibility to highways to visit family in Enid, and access to places that they most often frequent, like the YMCA.
Paige Bledsoe, French Construction Homeowner and Fallbrook Resident
Bledsoe mentions how much she loves her house but a big part of choosing the neighborhood was being able to have her home built by French Construction. “We chose Fallbrook because of the location where Tom French was building homes.”
Linda Negley, French Construction Homeowner and Fallbrook Resident
The Negleys moved back to Oklahoma after ten years and were looking for a house. Their Realtor showed them a French Construction model home in Fallbrook. They fell in love with the home; however, it was quickly sold when they were still making a decision. Upon running into Andrew French, they determined they should build their own. “It was the house that sold us on the neighborhood.”
Scott Shackleford, French Construction Homeowner and Fallbrook Resident
Shackleford went through a long process to find the perfect neighborhood, lot, and builder. He spoke to many builders from Norman to Moore to Yukon before landing on French Construction.
The Shacklefords first bought a lot in a different neighborhood but kept feeling uneasy as many spec homes were popping up. By happenstance, Shackleford wandered into Fallbrook and and didn’t want to leave. The Shacklefords got out of their contract, moved to Fallbrook, and are more than happy with their decision. “We love that it’s a nice enclave and secluded.”
